Many Notable Highlights at 25th Anniversary Show

This year's ProWein fair put an exclamation point on 25 successful years of trade fair history at Messe Düsseldorf. Starting with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by German Minister for Agriculture Julia Klöckner, the three-day show (17–19 March) further solidified its position as the world's leading trade fair of its kind. "When we launched ProWein 25 years ago, none of us could have imagined just how incredibly it would develop. It's taken a massive amount of hard work and strong support along the way from our partners to grow this exhibition step for step into the world's largest and most important trade fair for wine and spirits.

Vinakras winery – loyal to local winemaking traditions. Since 1947.
Despite some wineries are in constant search of wine-trends, the winery Vinakras has always remained loyal to local wine-making traditions and grape varieties that correspond perfectly to the nature of the terroir.

After years of careful selection and research, the winery has developed the Prestige line, which was showcased also at the ProWein fair. The Prestige line consists of prestigious wines produced in limited quantities. Grapes grow in some of the best locations and are exclusively hand-picked. All wines are matured in wooden casks under the close supervision of oenologists. All Prestige wines are also internationally awarded wines. The presentation at the ProWein fair was again a true success. ˝Visitors were impressed by the quality of the wines and the business meetings we had opened up to new possibilities for future business development in the markets abroad. ˝ commented on this year's presentation at ProWein the managing director, Mr. Marjan Colja.
