Vinitaly - the International Wine and Spirits exhibition, is one of the most important events for the wine sector in Europe. The Vinitaly Expo is an important meeting place between producers and buyers, a place where the world of wine professionals can get in touch with exhibitors to create different and innovative proposals. 

Vinakras was present at ProWein 2018, the world’s leading trade fair for wine and spirits. The largest industry meeting for professionals of viticulture, production, trade and gastronomy was held between the 18th and 20th March in Düsseldorf, which remains – the most important trading center for wine in the world.

After last year's successful presentation, Slovenia decided to set up a national stall at the Hong Kong Wine and Spirits Fair, that was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 10 to 12 November.

The 43 ^rd Wine Assessment ‪‪‪Vino Slovenija Gornja Radgona, the most influential verification of wine quality in Slovenia, has given the wine world 10 new champions. This year, 170 wine producers competed in the quality of their wines, with a total of 531 samples of wines from six countries: Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia and Macedonia.

The 59th edition of VINO LJUBLJANA – International Wine Competition, was held in the castle  of Ljubljana between June, 30th and July 2nd. The competition, known for being among ten foremost wine competitions in the world, enjoyed the auspices of some of the most important organizations responsible for the sensory analysis of wines. In Dusseldorf, a city in the West of Germany, the 22nd wine fair Prowein took place, known as one of the biggest and most eminent in the world. 6.000 exhibitors from 50 countries presented themselves and, according to statistical data, over 52.000 individuals from the field of distribution and wine connoisseurs visited it.
